  2. Christian Tuipulotu (hope not. He should be training to play prop)

  5. Mat Feagai (no)
  6. Kyle Flanagan (If he just catches and passes or runs himself without looking like passing but doesn't make many mistakes, Flanno will pick him.)
  7. Ben Hunt
  8. Francis Molo (no one else)
  9. Damien Cook
  10. Jack de Belin
  11. Luciano Leilua
  12. Jaydn Su’A
  13. Blake Lawrie (Funny joke. Toby C will be 13 and Ryan C 17. Lawrie will be in Cup.)

  16. Raymond Faitala-Mariner (I hope it's LPT or Stewart or Latu or Halaganhu but judging from Flanno's first year, it'll be RFM)

Surely the club will get JAC. So that will mean:

I am worried about SFinau (and the couchies) as they are all hitting market on Nov 1, but my ideal Rd1 2025 wing partnership is SFinau/JAC.. I think its our best 2.. JAC/Holmes Left, SFinau/Suli Right.

CTui/Feagai/Allan the guys behind him.. atleast 1 of those will be playing ctr anyway..

My theory is SFinau will wait to play some footy next year before negotiating any contracts.. his value can only go up if he stays fit and gets a chance to impress.

The Couchies simply must be extended before they hit the market!

Finau/JAC would be a very solid wing combo. CT is just too slow.

We are probably trying to wrap them up.. but they might choose to play some first grade next year first and test their value.. wouldnt blame them tbh.. its a difficult contract also because I have no idea their worth.. or for how long to sign them.. or even if we just keep 1 of em..

Flanno might want to get rid of them to free up spots for Eisenhuth and BMM. Why not? He favoured Eisenhuth and BMM this season just passed. No matter how badly they played and no matter how well the Couchman's play in reserve grade. If it wasn't for injuries, neither would have played first grade last season.

Fox is pretty good at that. Very good in fact. Prove to Sloan he doesn't have be really big to do that. Finau is also big for a winger. I think the problem with him was his lack of looking for work. Hopefully that has been rectified.

100%, there are atleast 4 more key signings coming (most likely is Gutho, JAC, Lodge + Hunt replacement), but there could be more.. could be less.. but these all change the starting 13.

Gutho to play in what position? Parra recruited a young fullback not wanted by Penrith to play fullback. So Dragons are going to recruit Gutho to play fullback? Please tell me it isn't so.

Also Lodge has some personality problems. Every club he goes to gets rid of him despite good form on the field.

5/8 if Hunt goes. Kyle to halfback. LKT pressuring both to perform.

Flanno said Holmes will play left ctr, so it looks like the left side will be CT/Holmes/Kyle/Leilua & right side: ?/Suli/Hunt/Su'a

On paper both sides are lethal, imo Kyle is the perfect foil for the left as Luch is a great ball player & the rest are strike weapons while Hunt's running game should allow Su'a & Suli to have more 1v1 opportunities which plays to their strengths.

  5. Feagai (this is an issue. Even though he was better last year, still has far too many shockers in him, particularly in defence. Not only being out of position but missing one on one tackles. Really need to sign JAC.)

  7. Kyle Flanno (on the bright side, can't be any worse than he was at 5/8. There are no established halfbacks in the market. Will need to take a chance with a new face or have a 5/8 play at halfback.)

Allan was the starting winger for this year before his injury, so don't discount Flanno picking him.

imo no point predicting the left winger, see who looks the goods over the preseason, CTui, Sloan, Allan, Feagai, Ramsey, all could compete for it in theory.. if we dont sign JAC or a rugby player etc. I am assuming SFinau is right wing (though he can play either iirc).

Allan in particular I still think is a complete unknown.. I havent seen him play in years..

But also Allan/Feagai/Ramsey are our only centre depth coverage, so maybe they are better off focussing on those positions...
