Round 10: St. George Illawarra vs New Zealand Warriors

Warriors were a team heavily tipped to struggle in the off season. They are doing anything but that. As for the Dragons, if Flanno wants to be consistent, if Finau was dropped for his defence after one game, Sloan won't see NRL again under Flanno's coaching after that effort. As for the halves, the only thing certain is that LKT won't be dropped....... the only thing certain is that LKT shouldn't be dropped. As for the forwards, not sure what happened to Gular. Even if he's fit, is Blake Lawrie a better option? I would have said Latu is a better option but not so much now. Maybe LPT? NSW Cup team put 60 points on Wests. Didn't see the game but obviosuly a number of them played well.

After last round disappointment, the only thing good about playing the Warriors is we are playing at WIN. I would think Guler might be out and maybe Sele takes his spot or even a debut by LPT. We will know tomorrow I suppose but the selection of Sloan will be interesting, Finau had a pretty good game in KOE. Interesting times.

Build on the tigers performance, plenty of positives but some poor individual moments led to tries. We need to reduce those moments from our game, warriors will have a consistent 80min effort. A different style of play to the Tigers, a good test for our team.

Hope Klemmer releases the handbrake again, those carries were exactly what we require moving forward. Stewart was immense too, needs to bring it again. LKT played his role, Kyle's kicking was solid for the most part. I'd replace Guler with LPT & Sloan with either Lawson or Finau.

I remember it wasn't long ago Dragons had the wood on the Warriors.

It would be ridiculous to pick Sele after 1 appearance in cup, he needs to string 3 games together before he can be trusted.

What if he got picked and his calf or hammy went after 10 mins and we only have 2 forwards on the bench the rest of the game

Stick with Guler or Pick Loko would be my 2 options

Yep agree with you, but can we trust Sele after any game he's had. If he was an investment its been a pretty poor return over the last couple of years.

Pretty sure they'd like to keep him in ressies for a couple of weeks but things are desperate.

Though could be worse. When Couchman went down clutching at his shoulder, I was thinking the worst for a bit.

Good call re No.17 but No.2 after that defensive effort not dropped after Finau was dropped because of his defence in the game before makes non sense at all. No.5 goes ok but not as a first grade winger. Too slow and unlike CT, not powerful enough to make a lot of running metres despite lack of speed.
No. 6🤡..... I think Flanno has told club power-brokers that his fate is tied to No.6 and Flanno won't drop him. If they want him out of they team they should sack Flanno.

Lawson won't lose his spot
