I have been supporting the Dragons since the 60's and I am finding them so boring to watch these days because they play too many one up plays and we get beat. When we play the Storm we play expansive football and spread the ball and we beat them. Play the titans and we were lucky to win, more luck than anything else. I really don't like Flanagan the coach and actually thought he new how to coach a winning team and the way we are playing he is as bad as what I expected. Maybe his head is at a different club and is treating our great team with no respect. If his coaching style he is adopting at the moment is the way he starts next year he is not the coach we need, we need a coach that actually loves our great club. Remember what he did to Todd Carney at the Roosters them chased him out of the sharks. Is this in his agenda to completely embarass us.

I understand where you are coming from but Flanno can only work with what he inherited. Was Flanno at the Roosters?
Yes he was he got rid of Todd Carney when Flanno was the coach, Todd went to the sharks Flanno followed and got rid of him from there. He may have inherited the team but the style of football we are playing is what the coach is coaching. One out plays 85% of the time is garbage. I played the game from 1966 until about 1985 and was in 8 grand finals 3 of which we won. We played expansive football and ran around most teams we played, but our NRL team are playing we will be lucky to win any more games this season.

Carney wasn't the best person to have around the club.
I agree with you regarding the lack of flair but for this year, there is really no one else. Finau could have been on the wing but he isn't very fast either. What other outside backs are even on the radar?

Ur gonna have to wait a few years for exciting footy.. this rebuild is gonna have to be done the hard way.. the very very hard way.. its an absolute miracle we are winning games with the roster we have... im not even sure who the halves are gonna be yet after next year either (in terms of footy style).
Ultimately though, winning 50% of games and being in the hunt for finals.. it makes me so happy to be enjoying NRL again... I think the last 10 years has broken a lot of fans... but particularly the griffin era... that I think we can look back at now and be confident it was the point of rock bottom.

The worst for me wasn't Griffin but Price. It was so obvious he was way out of his depth but they wouldn't sack him for.... how many years was it?
