Hope everyone had a restful off season. Who is joining tipping this year? It's just for a bit of fun but who knows? Maybe someone can organise some small prize in the future.
The first year was a bit silly. jodragon40 went on an astonishing run. It wasn't that everyone else was tipping badly, jodragon40 was just getting 7 or 8 every week for about 7 or 8 rounds in a row. By the time it was over, the competition was for second place.

Last year was exciting. jodragon40 again got off to a strong start but was within striking distance for the whole year. Indeed with about 5 rounds to go, I took over top spot. Then I fell away but DragonsTragic came up and just missed out to jodragon40.

This year the competition scoring system will be tweaked again. Still 8 points first, 4 second and 2 third but with 2 bonus points for picking 8 from 8. Once again, only pick for and against for Dragons games.

After calming my nerves a bit, maybe picking Feagai and CT on the wings isn't so bad. I mean, not picking Finau isn't so bad. Those two have to play well. Don't put yourself in a position Bullgrubs wingers can easily run past you on the outside. Mat, when you are in position to make a tackle, don't feebly hang an arm out then watch him cruise straight past as though you weren't even there. Mat, every winger and a lot of centres make mistakes about when to rush in and when to stay out but unlike you they don't do it half the time or more. We know neither are going to score run away tries. Was it Finau's third try in the CS? Neither CT or Feagai are gong to go close to scoring that.

Other than that, pretty happy with the forward pack Flanno has gone with. I had a fear he was going to still pull the NoT rEAdY yET card with Ryan Couchman let alone Stewart.
