Willie Talau has game day staff but he is basically NRL assistant coach.
He and most of the team are Top 30 so they spend the week as part of NRL training.
Usually one session a week the players outside NRL join them. The rest of the time those players train with the Flegg squad under Billy and his assistant Sean Maloney.

I just watched Sats Flegg match and after taking an early flogging from the Panthers it was two pieces of Kade Reed magic that got us back into the contest. One a cleverly held up pass for Langdon to stroll over, then an almost forgotten play, the self chip, he regathered and sent a flying Te Moananui under the sticks. A few mins earlier he had laid on a neat pass for big but slow and not all that skillful Weatherall who spilled it over the line. He then backed himself with a short grubber, again regathered but threw the pass forward. What Reed showed in this 10 min period before oranges was something that only the best players have, the ability to inspire, team mates, coach, fans. So much so that the boys came back from 22 points behind to almost pull off an incredible win. Reed must have had no fewer than four try assists in a dominant display of skillful footy.

30-34 and with time ticking down centre Borg is put in the clear but as the defense quickly closes on him instead of either a long inside pass or a centre kick he went for glory and any chance of us winning the game, went up in smoke. While Reed orchestrated everything he was given good support by replacement 5/8 Shadi Hammoud. He and Reed look as tho they could form a good halves combo for rest of the season. Craft -Te Moananui was again the pick of the outside backs. Flegg need a couple of big boppers in the engine room.

The same as in first grade RVH. This should be the recruitment guys main aim for 2026 without fail. Instead of our guys being tall and muscular but with soft bellies, we need tough, hard, tall, giants with speed and guts to hit the line hard in attack and defence and not wince with pain.

The Flegg team is crazy stacked also..Hammoud back @6, WIlliams back.. Liu back, Hjlatason back.. CST and Treweek back.. Hutcho back... Rubie off the bench.. Heidke back also... though I think he should be staying up from now on, think were dropping the ball with him as our right centre solution.... but were sort of in this place where we are trying to squeeze as many players into the squads as possible.. esp this week with the first grade bye. That is a NSW Cup standard squad playing U21's...

In terms of cup... I'm glad Ramsey is keeping his #1 jersey too, Sloan on the wing.. harsh for SFinau, but seems like hes on his way out anyway.. esp with Schiller (or whoever) supposedly about to come in.
