I think the Matt’s team should be our best unit as a whole for steelers. Couple very good players in the mix that can have a claim to be among the best u17 players in NSW
I’d take the Dragons SG win with a pinch of salt just because of the opposition
That being said, Steelers SG ball being smashed after looking at the Storm team list isn’t too surprising. Couple studs playing for them and @Theshortball thinks Storm have a good chance of winning SG ball so I’m not too down on the Steelers at the moment. They are a wait and see team for me

That Steelers Matt’s team is sooo good, have the same feeling as I had 2 years ago with the the St George SG ball side. So many good players. Top 4 minimum

no he is not the younger brother of Sam walker, Tyson walker signed from the tigers recently playing for McArthur west tigers in there Laurie Daley squad last season

Big lump of a lad originally from the land of the long white cloud. Played JF last season for the Knights. Saw him play a match against the Tigers where he just was unstoppable close to the line scored 2 meat pie in that game albeit against a tiring defensive line. Wears the 10 jersey

Been doing some research this morning, this is what I have so far:
Age 21 seems right (thats the age the mole said), and he played U19s in 2024, U21s 2024/2025... hes a prop though, age-wise it puts this guy very close to LPT and co.. but less experienced... I spose it replaces Jett Liu.. and size/speed maybe similar to Coutts.. dunno what the contract is.. probably just cup.. infact 0 previous cup experience it would have to be a cup contract... but we do need to sign someone to top 30 at some point soon.

I know his name cause weve played against him a few times I suspect, I found a try he scored against us on half time, hes a tall fast prop who can spin, hes an absolute try scorer..... cant speak to his defence etc.... its half way through the 1minute long highlights video here:
I feel like the signing of him and Coutts have Andersons mits all over it.. he says his speciality is middles.. and these are 2 non conventional frames for props.. very athletic.. no hint of blake lawrie in either of them.
The only confusing part is this post that makes it seem like Bailey had an NRL T&T for 2025, that cant be right given hes played 0 NSW Cup? Still assuming its a cup contract.. but maybe its not.. but also why didnt he play any cup during the year? and why did they let him go?

Cannot find anything to confirm this signing. He looks pretty good in the highlights but I wonder why Holbrook would let him go if he is any good, if of course what the Mole says is factual!?
