I was trying to think of the first half standouts but it just comes to down to who has done a lot of work. Apart from the kick by Cook, haven't worried thier defence. But then again, they haven't worried ours much either.

Great defense for the first half but it felt as they were slowly getting on top. We needed half time, we also desperately need our attack to start clicking, it will obviously take time but we cant afford to take to long. Overall for the first half was reasonably happy, we are competing.

Our backline is just pedestrian. We don’t have the threat out wide so Dogs have compressed as one of the commentators said. We desperately need to recruit or promote some speed.

2 points behind and we have had everything go against us in that half. We are in this game up to our ears. We must, must restrict the time we are giving Galvin.

Completion rate is the best for a long time 83% but once again no defensive line speed they are avg 10m a set more in attack.

One plus is Atkinson kicking game and big improvement on previous seasons. How Chrichton isn't in the bin is beyond me.

It could come down to fitness late in the 2nd half. At least we are competing against 1 of the tauted top 4 teams.
