I really liked Metcalf last year.

It was a bit of a gamble to sign him on the coin we did, though - then again, there weren't too many other options.

Hopefully he can rediscover that '25 form (minus the injuries)!

I think LKT has some great attributes to his game but I fear for him a bit with the speed of the game increasing (for whatever stupid reason). I think he certainly has more to his game than Amone did. He may have to switch position, probably to lock. Having somewhat quick halves seems to be a must these days.

There's a few ppl I've heard claim Ando is considered internally to be 'not hitting the mark'.. that other parties (Tim, Ben and others) are stepping in to increase our network and get the deals done.. perhaps so.. but I do feel like its probably going to be a bit of a group effort for us, maybe that's not a bad thing.. we're also doing it without a coach to sell the vision.

I also feel a lot of our roster situation was caused by having Flanno in the process with his old-school views....

For me personally.. every time I've heard Ando speak I'm always so impressed, he rly gets me thinking... I love that he's a part of our club.

Agents attitude to the club changed about 3 weeks ago.

We now need to do some cap management, need to offload players to give us better options.

Some targets now will be 25ish 100 gamers.
Just for example shed a player at 750 sign a 350

Agents know the hiigh and lows we are after and are now starting to come to us.

IMO, DA has done a job and done it fast. Now we need the coaches to step up and get the best out of the young players in the system.

This is the key now, we got the big pieces sorted.. assuming Watson is done thats our 1, 7, 9, 10, 5, we could make a charge like that with some small fill-ins, but if we do manage to offload 3-4 more players.. maybe we can shoot higher.

The key I think is that we are doing it now while we are still players potentially on the market.. in the past we have left this stuff deep into the off-season, and its too little too late..

Gutho im hearing its either coaching with us or coaching with Manly.. Val is tricky cause maybe as part of a swap but hes on too much coin which is tricky.. hes also actually potentially our best winger, anyway we shall see.. Suli maybe we can offload at full freight or close too.. again though we do need to actually replace him.. oh and Kyle.. I hope he is open to a move, his coin isnt that high, but if we can get like 300k back and a Top 30 spot.. thats a young hooker we can put in our Top 30 with change.

I love that since Anderson Watsford creagh and Lancaster came together we have bought what appears to be the best available 1/2/7/8 at the time … who is ultimately responsible I don’t know but something has changed

Watson would be a great add to that in the 9/13/14 util role to complement liddle

Stick to your No-JamesHooper rule mate because Metcalf aint coming this yr. So dont expect us to move from wooden spoon favoritism, specially if we retain Kyle at #7.

Now we have to wait for Metcalf Jd, is Atkinson still your pivot. Fraid nothing is gonna change for us until we bring in this new trio of KK, Drinky and Luke. But gotta say there is a level of excitement I've not had since Widdop joined us with these guys coming and combining with our best juniors to take us forward.

Probably but I hope he stays. I don't get how our coaching staff seemingly doesn't rate Halangahu. I know he's NSW Cup captain but I'd have had him as a permanent selection in the NRL from midway through last year.
