my quick look into recovery times for shoulder dislocations indicates that for young players (Hayden is 20), the chance of re-injuring it is high.. so they recommend surgery.. in any case its a huge blow for a position we were in strife in leading into the weekend.. its imo a real shame Sua isnt fit cause hes done a very good job imo in the position before.. were gonna need to think outside the box to get this squad through till end of year.

If we did want to shoot outside the square... I feel like Atkinson @ctr or Fullback, or LKT @ Ctr or Fullback.. I dont think we can do much with 7 short of a JDB type call.. Cook looks like a soft tissue injury and will be out for yonks, we probably need to run Liddle and Haele or some such as hooker rotation..
Nick yeah maybe, only part im worried about is are we pushing his ankle to play him @ctr, but again were gonna have to probably play guys like Liddle and Nick ready or not..
Leilua could maybe play 6.. im not suggesting we do any of this.. im just trying to think what can we do to work around the injuries and try to change up how we score points. Like what would Billy Slater do if he was coach type stuff?

Agree. He should be back hopefully vs Cronulla or Newcastle with the next bye in between those. Play him in cup for a week like they did with Egan then fingers crossed the job is his.
Gutho, Holmes, Tu have all been useless. Suli and Fale injured. Rather see Nick there and hopefully chalk up 10 games than the other clowns week after week embarrassing the jersey. Just over this shit and one thing, the young pups are standing up week after week, it’s the others doing the same dumb shit over and over yet they safe from nsw cup.
Mate, we can’t keep running with Gutho at centre. Beyond a joke now. Holmes has seriously lost the plot. An underdone Nick would still defend better than both of them

2 weeks for SuA, must not be bad strain, i have had probably 6-8 calf injuries, and majority because i kept coming back too early

Poor Dan Meafou gonna be one of those ‘what if’ players like Josh Coric who looked like they could be great during SG ball and it just never plays out that way

Stealing Mug's job.. Liddle back (ready or not), Cook not mentioned so hopefully wasnt a serious injury that took him off last week..
Not loving that Nick is now TBC.. assumed it was closer and closer each week, but seems like a more serious issue...

While we're on injuries, CTs (minor hammy) actions after his injury in the final 2 min of the game was bizzare.
We were on the attack (shows up better in eagle cam) Luch organising the play.
gets Gutho to sweep around Val on block run and CT on wing.
Couchie goes himself but gets a late ball away so play is still on.
CT had turned and was walking down to southern end of ground.
Play hits Gutho draws winger no f*cking CT.
You can see it bottom of screen if you watch replay 2 min left on clock.
