Yes I think he did sign a 4 year deal so your probably right and way before Anderson so what to do with him I don’t know if I can see a debut in 27 in him but I might be wrong

Not sure about Deano but seems pretty much everyone else thinks Hamish is better in the middle. Having said that, he's making a very good fist of being an edge backrower. If we have a middle rotation of:
  • T. Couchman
  • R. Couchman
  • KK
  • LPT
  • Halangahu
  • Webster/Hutchinson
Then Egan and Hamish in the backrow playing 80min...... what can I say? Seems like a very good pack to me. KK can also play in the backrow even though he's better in the middle. I also liked the idea of trying to turn Suli into a backrower if he's sticking around next year. He plays like a backrower now. Usually just runs straight and hard.

I think we've seen glimpses of Stewart starting on the edge but transition to lock once Halangahu comes onto the field. I wouldn't be surprised if that's something they work on in the off-season, even if it's just for attacking sets. Imo defending on the edge requires great lateral movement, effective 1v1 defence & great decision making, Hamish ticks all those boxes. Probably saves him from the brutality of the middle in the early stages of the game. I think it'll be interesting whether we start with KK & LPT or LPT off the bench.

Brilliant news about Loko and Truck. Great work by all involved especially DA who is fast becoming our best signing since Wayne Bennett.
Just a quick one on Latu, whilst I was as pissed off as anyone when he jumped ship most of us don’t really understand the internal dynamics these young athletes have to negotiate as their career progresses. Good luck to him and I hope he cracks it, but always has a shocker against us.

The SEN interview is next up on my podcast list, he must have some free time finally and is doing some media this week :p

I suspect we are chasing a centre still and maybe that young hooker.. and I cant remember who now.. someone said one of the young OB's will be promoted also.. maybe Rumble or Heidke.. I am very interested in whether Rumble could be an upgrade on Setu Tu.. sooner than expected..

I still think there is movement to come.. but it may have to wait for Nov 1.. or may have to wait to be 100% we can move on any of Kyle/Gutho/Suli. Is that Flanno (x2) to Tigers a real thing? Sure as hell they arent silly enough to take on the whole nepotism thing.. then again it would only be 1 year.. and probably we will be happy to chip in half..

He is so fast I don’t think anyone catching him if he gets away and is a great finishing

I thought he was younger than that. Like only 19 or maybe 20 this year. You'd think it's time to give him a chance but if he not playing well in NSW Cup....
