As far as a), I'm not overly concerned. A number of players get injured a lot early in their careers. Remember Tedesco could hardly get on the field for about 3 years after he hit the scene? That broken bone in his foot just sounds like bad luck rather than being injury prone.

Even though his defence has improved, I wonder if we can afford to have him and Reed playing together. His defence has improved but still not good. Might have to wait until next year to see him and Reed together in first grade. Until both of them have improved their defence.
