Spot on about not rushing any 17-18 year-olds into first grade but then I feel you undermined your own argument. Look at the Dragons 1-7. Holmes is ok due to what he has done in the recent past but something has gone terribly wrong when the other 6 are the best Dean Young has to choose from.

NRL 360° was talking about how Dean Young has improved the pack and mentioned the Couchman's specifically. It's just not true. The forwards, Couchman's in particular, have been very good all year.

Getting Gutho off contract even if Dragons have to pay 1/2 is the holy grail at this point. Free up 450k to hopefully re-sign LPT.

Griffin and Flanno had so much experience but someone like Peter Wallace hardly had any experience as an assistant before he became head coach. Hannay at the Titans seems to be turning them around as well. Slowly but surely. Same can't be said for Dean Young at the Dragons.

Seems to be a big push in the media for Dean Young. They mention his winning 2 from 9 in passing but highlight how much the players supposedly love him. If the players love him so much, he must be an even worse coach than we imagine because the players are playing for him but his tactics...

Hear his on field interview right after the Tigers game? Sounds like he wants to be on the wing. Most highly paid winger of all time but if that's where we can use him best and where he is happiest, that is what it has to be.
