As much as most of us were against the hiring of DY, I wish him all the best and hope he can prove us wrong and turn the club around and bring sustained success
I agree. But I think Deano (if the coach) gives him the jersey out of respect but after 3-5 games his form will be terrible and Dean will have no choice but to replace him
If Stewart returns to the middle rotation we are going to struggle to find minutes for Keaon, 2x couchman, LPT, Stewart etc. probably not the worst thing that everyone doesn’t have to play huge minutes every week and can work on a rotation to keep them rested throughout the year. Either way it’s...
First game all season without strapping all over his knee. Looked so much better was back busting tackles, offloading and dragging defenders with him. Can see him having a huge end of year
That’s true, I forgot about Woolf. He did have a lot of success in the super league prior to being Bennetts assistant though. Just wish there a bit of ambition from our leaders to go after a great coach and really make a splash. Don’t just go for the easy or familiar option. Time will tell
Surely there would be aspiring coaches lining up for this job. The team has the potential to be so much better next year. Would love something outside of the box, like when the warriors got Webster. Maybe someone like Teo. Don’t understand how someone in the locker room for the last 3 years...
Say what you want about lomax but we should be all over bringing him back. Atleast 5 of those bombs in the second half the knights didn’t even bother contesting he would have caught them and potentially set up a try. Setu Tu got a hand to like 3 of them and set up a try on one but man lomax...
Great fight back from the boys. Clearly found a weakness in the knights defence with the early kick in behind. Feel like we’ve lost a few 50/50 calls with the last pass for first try/ cookie at the end/ and a few others that I can’t remember of the top of my head but good fight from the boys
Pretty sure I remember Mug mentioning that the we would be looking to fill the rest of the roster sports with players around that 100 game mark. A few seasoned professionals and people like Shawn Blore and Jesse Arthars fit the bill.
