I thought Sele was effective in the Cup match yesterday and yes I know it was only Cup level. His step gets him between the defence as opposed to Lawrie and Guler who can be lined up and thumped. I would definitely pick Sele ahead of both of them.
A real team effort. It is hard to identify any standouts that you can say are going to make NRL stars or at least it is for me. Amazing that they are coming first but great work by all involved.
Yes that is my concern as well - he is going to be 30 next year. I know we are "desperate" but he could be in for a slide in form over the next couple of years. Two years would have been better but I assume he wouldn't come for that.
