Round 24 vs Warriors

The Dragons now fly over the ditch to play the Warriors at Go Media Stadium for what will be an attempt to win 3 games in a row. The last time these two teams met was in Round 10 on 10 May 2025 at WIN Stadium with the visitors from New Zealand winning by 1 point - 15-14.

The Warriors will be desperate to beat the Dragons to maintain their position in the top 8 of the 2025 NRL Competition after losing their last three games while the Dragons, who have suffered more injuries following their win against the Cronulla Sharks will be wanting to win three in a row which they haven't been able to achieve this year.

The Dragons have been very good in their recent wins against the Raiders and Sharks and will be confident of producing a similar result on Friday 15th August at 6.00 pm.

Go the Mighty Dragons. Slay those Warriors with your fire in the belly.

LKT had his best game yet. Buchanan and Halangahu showed they belong in first grade. Stewart might have been MOTM.
Gutho and Stewart (while he was on) were in everything but after that, LKT and Buchanan must have figured in MoM discussions. LKT outplayed Shonkies very highly rated (and paid) halves and Buchanan outplayed Ramien. What more could you ask of them?

Massive round of footy, soo many games influencing the top 8, including our own. Win & keep the faint finals hopes alive, lose & it's all over! Warriors will be fired up after their recent losses, many people now doubting them & they're back home. I think they'll go flat out in the first 20mins...Ambush is on imo!

I'd roll the dice with CT if he's fit but it's a massive risk since we don't have any ctr cover apart from cook.

Statistically we go well against the Warriors at media stadium its 6 a piece, overall its 25-13 in our favour.

We would be looking for revenge for that 1 point loss in round 10, a game that we let slip scoring 3 tries to 2.

Confidence is a wonderful thing whereas pressure can undo the best of teams. Warriors are feeling the loss of Barnett and Metcalf. They have now lost 3 games in a row and we are about to add to their pain.

Suli will be a big loss because he does the hard yards early on in the tackle count. In round 10, against them he had 14 runs /148m.

The bookies once again are underestimating us and have the Warriors $1.55, Dragons $2.50, I have doubled down on my winnings from the last 2 weeks using their money, banked my own money on the big red V today to win by a margin of between 1- 12 points @ $3.50. It's money in the bank.

Get on all ye faithful.

  4. Feagai
  5. Sloan
  6. LKT
  7. Flanangan
  8. Klemmer

  10. Gular
  11. Leilua
  12. Stewart
  13. JDB
  14. Liddle
  15. Sele
  16. Lawrie
  17. Halangahu
CT will be there if he pulled up fine from reserve grade
