Wonderful memories, you got me thats a good innings mate. I was talking in reality from the perspective of supporters bases.

Any JV club surely has to keep this in mind when playing home games . I would hate to think in my lifetime no games played on the hollowed ground Kogarah Jubilee Oval.

I believe that you will be seeing more wins in the coming years, a great 80th birthday present for you would be another premiership win. Cheers
Thanks Jo. I do want to see the Dragons play on the hallowed Kogarah Jubilee Oval many, many times before my time comes to rest. I was born at St George Hospital and started my life in Hurstville in 1947 so my journey as a Dragons supporter was helped by me being born and raised in the area. I have watched many games played at Kogarah over the years but unfortunately have not been and watched our games at WIN Stadium. As a joint venture club it is only fair that home games are shared between Kogarah Jubilee Oval and WIN Stadium in my opinion.

Of course we all want to see the Dragons win most games, particularly at our home grounds. Win, win, win is what I want.

Dont know about Lawson Chris, he was touted as being this Australian Rugby 7's superstar. He was getting run down in games, his aerial work was really poor and his defense was enough to make Sloan look good. Imho he needs a lot of work, I was pretty disappointed in him and I hope he has learnt a lot in the off season and makes a better fist of it, lets hope so.
I remember last year people wanting Lawson to play from rd 1 because of his highlight reel, the guy might be a good Union player but he had never played league in his life supposedly, and as you pointed out, he had all these issues that get exposed in 1st grade, might be able to get away with some of these in KOE cup, but it doesnt take long to be exposed when you hit the top grade, hopefully with the experience gained and a good preseason we see a marked improvement..
