Outrageous. That tackle (or a worse version of it) happens several times a game.

i am upset for him, but due to this and Toby HIA we are going to see some change in the team that i think will be good and pressure selections in a few weeks time when both Toby/Ryan are fit ... Halangahu should push Luc into a middle role for at least part of the game and he along with stewart have passing games in the middle of the paddock.

It was all over after they referred him directly to the judiciary. And because precedence had already been set by last years incident he was always going to receive a minimum of 4 weeks .
That is just the way it works im afraid.
Can’t wait to see how many other hip drops are dealt with like Ryan’s over the course of 2026. I won’t hold my breath, I’ll drop dead

The only 3 I can remember being punished heavily are the Carrigan and Sipley ones which put Hastings and Feagai out for long periods + Ryan Couchmans one
There’s are genuinely 7-8 very similar tackles a game and it’s only the unlucky few which cause major injury that get punished

Yep there’s another, put the guy out for the season and got 4 game suspension
