My post mortem from watching the replay. Setu robbed of a third try. Prob the movement of the match, ball must've travelled thru 10 hands. Dragons that is the type of footy we need to be playing.

Our two allowed tries came from something we need to be copying plenty of times every game, the safe not pushed offload that creates all important second phase play. The best offload exponents we have are Toby and Luch. This outgoing coach needed earlier in his tenure to be asking our guys to watch the way those two go about their business with ball in hand. With more safe second phase play we'd be a much better footy team and Flanagan may have kept his job.

Atkinson had his least effective match, lets be honest it was a shocker. He has no imagination, no short kicking or nippy darts to upset their line and his long kicking is so repetitive, not looking for grass with a lower trajectory to bring some uncertainty with a bouncing ball as our best #7 Kade Reed is able to do..

Cook produced his top game for us, all a bit late as we needed this from him last yr. Noticed tho a drop in his intensity the longer he played.

The Rabbits defense was relentless and they won the most important moments which usually culminated in Trell terrorizing our weak left edge! Dragons bound KK put in a terrific combined 165m /22 tk contribution.

Untried as a permanent head coach David, so old mate pure conjecture. Lets put it this way, at this stage he is no better or worse than our previous two head coaches. Personally I think he will do a better job than that pair by better identifying talent and playing them. Ben Hornby is also in the mix for the Dragons coaching job I am hearing, another without head coach experience.

I'm all for giving Atkinson a decnet chance with a new coach and not partnered with Kyle Flanagan but I've seen nothing at all to suggest he's going to be a better long term 5/8 than LKT. There are a couple in the lower grades now who might surpass both in 2028.

Well at least Wayne Bennett showed his class by not sinking the boot in when he could have. Said the Dragons didn't play too bad, said everyone at the Dragons is under pressure. I really think he knows how bad the Dragons are, but didn't buy in with bagging them further.

To have 2 try's put on you when the opposition has 12 men is pure filth. I dont care who the coaches are the players have to take ownership of that. Here we are waiting to at least be told something from the club, but nothing, that also is disgusting treating the members like that. We are now heading into our Premier day where all the eyes from Australia and parts of the world will be on the Dragons, what a sheer embarrassment to go into this game at 0 - 7, f#@king disgusting, and if you are watching the Knights getting blown off the park today , we are in for another hiding

Mate only the dragons can’t take a 10 min advantage against a 12 man opposition. Happened vs Parra, Nth QLD and last night. Embarrassing is an understatement

we can be defended by 2 men we are that bad ... one out (and usually telegraphed which side) means we are the easiest team to tackle and gang tackle at that ...

That comes down to selected players/training and game plan and that is Flano

The lack of an actual game managing halfback is the obvious issue and that is a direct result of driving any threats to Kyle out of the joint.

The players in the squad that Flano built are a massive issue - the creator of that squad should hold the lions share of the shite and that is Flano.
