fark me this obsession with playing certain guys.. they arent even that good.. let CT play some cup.. test the injury.. injuries tonight almost broke us.. I mean the fox into touch and the val try saved us in the end.

back Nickk, give Charlie a contract, play some fit young energetic players instead..

Unfortunately if we lose Jackk/Toby/Val/Gutho and its season over.. and that could be Toby for the season or close too it.. were in real strife now to avoid the spoon unfortunately.. thank god we got tonights win, give us some chance to avoid it.. but geez its gonna be brave from here.

Also going to pay the price for not signing players before June 30 imo.. taken a punt and run us with 27/30,crazy..

Gosh that was an awful night, feel so low even with the win.. far out.. but god we needed it before this big run of games comes.

Its just parra coming out with energy, when a young fit team comes at us.. if they dont make mistakes we r in strife.. hopefully Canberra are merciful next week, Stewart on top of Toby is not good.. Leilua we can cover, Sua would be awful to lose.. CT is whatever.. not sure if there were other injuries too.. Jacks neck looked pretty bad butr hopefully wont stop him playing.

Gonna miss Jack next year, he hardly ever gets injured.. while a few of the others are just going from injury to injury...

Mate said before while everything is going their way they look okay , soon as a team gets 6 again or a penalty they just start falling off ......... Had no ball at all in the 2nd half and the injuries did not help ......... It's a win I guess they live another day ........

In today's fast paced game with all those injuries and disruption not many teams in this competition would have walked away with a win. I thought against all odds in the 2nd half were showed true determination and courage to hang in there and take the win. As you know when a team is chasing the scoreboard mistakes happen and that mistake was made by their best player Lomax and we were good enough to take advantage of that mistake. In that movement there were 2 try scoring tackles made the first by Holmes the 2nd by Liddle. They never gave up chasing back in the end it was Holmes picking himself up off the ground that scooped up the ball and won the game. I'm a proud Dragons supporter tonight.

I thought Lyhkan and Kyle had their best 40 min of football.
There is a lesson in the 2 games today on how much influence forwards, possession and field position have on how well halves play.

Tonight’s win was like Manly beating the tigers the other night

Paper over the cracks, I know some people will say ‘your negative, enjoy the win’ but that’s such surface level analysis

The second half performances in a few games this year have been woeful

Make no mistake we lost the yardage/field position battle again tonight even before the comeback was on for Parra

Im seeing elements in parramatta game with a similar level of squad to ours and they have come on leaps and bounds defensively since round 1 with a new coach and without their best player in many games (Moses)

Beware next week with the injury till, Canberra down there could be a bloodbath

Enjoy the result, may be a fair while before we jag another win

It definitely papers over the cracks.. but.. its wallpaper we needed to have.. we couldnt go into this run on a 3loss run.. just would be devastating for morale for the next 6 months.. so thank god we found a way.. even it was a lucky touchie call or a val intercept.

next week will be mission impossible, I hope the raiders are merciful.. even losing Stewart for HIA for 11 days.. as if things werent hard enough already.. we have impact guys like Tonga, Fifita (if his knee is ok).. Sele to a lesser extent due to match fitness, but none of these guys can put out the long minutes that Toby and Stewart do.. im not sure how were gonna get around this.

Losing Luciano is 'ok' if we back our young ones... though its still a body down.. once again as ive been saying for months.. if only Nick had been playing 2nd row in cup.. hes gonna have to play now I assume.. even Jacob might get a call up, but its an awful game for a debut.. awful..

Definitely going to be a very challenging team list tuesday I agree..

To be fair mate, losing Leilua, Couchman and Stewart threw all rotations out the window, plus HIA’s to Allan and Guler on top of losing CT 5 mins before kickoff.

Guler played 61 mins, Klemmer 63 mins and the whole 2nd half was basically surviving the 40 mins and winning the game. That was a very gutsy 2nd half considering they were running on fumes in the last 20 and Parra were full of steam

I’d probably say fair enough mate, if this was only the first or second time we’ve collapsed

It’s happened frequently, even in wins we’ve had.

I just think the way we play isn’t a formula to win consistently, if you give up field position like we do and I know I sound like a broken record but it’s just the facts

Look at the tackled in Opp 20 stats in our games this year, generally whoever wins that stat wins the game as they have better field position and keep the opposition away from their own try line etc.

Just frustrated as a fan with the losses we’ve already had and tonight was oh so close to potentially being another tight loss bar a touchie call and a Lomax brain explosion

I fear that it could be an end to the season like 2021 where we lost our last 8 or 9 games in a row

We’ll see how it plays out but I think Shane Flanagan is going to be under immense pressure in a few weeks and incoming potential recruits will want to know who the coach will be in ‘27 and ‘28 and we can’t sit there and convincingly say “Shane Flanagan will be our coach 2 years from now

It hinders recruitment and retention massively with the future of the coach uncertain

I am happy that the club extended LKT and I think he will continue to improve and could be our long term 5/8.IMO he got the better of Dylan Brown tonight. Whilst young Flanno has copped plenty of criticism (justified), he doesn't hide in defence and has a reasonable passing game. Having said that, he would make a good 14.
