I think Kommunity TV are the ones who stream the ASSRL tournaments

That’s the cream of the crop kids in that, expecting Ah Kee to have the strongest chance of making the AUS Schoolboys side

If Ollie Burton makes it he’ll be the youngest since Owen Craigie back in the 90’s to make the aus schoolboys team as a 16 year old

Ollie, Jasias and CJ did not make the starting 13 all in the reserves.
Cooper Morrison starting on wing.

Jasais was superb of the bench, same with Ollie Burton who played about 20 mins and scored/made 2 linebreaks and defended really well

Jasais certainly starts in the halves like I said he should to begin with next game

Side note - The NSWCIS team is absolutely stacked, their Fullback Jai Callaghan is about to get the flick from the dogs because they signed The QLD 18’s fullback. Shiny toy whatever u wanna call it.

Callaghan is a Reese Walsh clone and uber talented. Millard should reach out with his dogs connections and see if there’s something to be done there. Give Jasais some help in the St George team for SG ball next year

The only challenge with someone like Callaghan is he would be competing with Burton in a few years time.. but we need competition.

The other thing is does Burton stay at fullback forever.. Justa made a good point that he is yet to develop his ballplaying skills, though hes quite capable of a catch and pass.. most of his point scoring comes off his running game.. I think he will end up a fullback, but he might come through as a centre or winger yet also.. big strapping boy with good pace and good in the air.. I think a lot of young guns transition in that 17-21yr period due to opportunity or an easier path to first grade.. Savage might be a good example, fullback all the way yet now on the wing, not sure what they will do with Chevy Stewart yet either.. Bostock im pretty sure was a centre, Schiller I thought was a fullback.. Tamale also a ctr and sometimes fullback.. if they have the raw ingredients, theyll probably make it somewhere.

I think it’s good to have 2 guys 2-3 years apart in that age bracket For the same position

Like you said Burton could be a winger for a year or 2 then transition or he might turn into a centre

Can’t rely on Illawarra to produce year in year out because the facts are it doesn’t and no region does. Not even NZ

Callaghan 2 years older than Burton so by the time he’s 21 we’ll know if he’s good enough to keep or flick him for Burton

We are looking at Lorima Saukuru for FB for Dragons SG, and Rokko Walker in Matts. Both can play 1 or 6

Is that dragons fb/wing you were excited about (that missed then season through injury) Zailen Campbell-Cook still on the scene?
