Got to play these t*rds next week also.. put 68 points on the team we squeezed past last week... not gonna be easy with the mountain injury toll, but I guess the game that really matters is if we play em in finals.

Don't need to beat them yet just as long as we maintain second. Then get our best reserve grade team on the field in the semis and see what's what.
I agree with you mate but who knows with our brains trust. Nick will at a minimum come onto the bench for 1st grade so I wouldn’t risk him today in reserve grade

I do agree they will probably hold Nick back.. but.. they could also play RFM next week... and Nick didnt play last week either, so it would be 3 weeks between games.. either way I guess.. would be good if BMM plays though, were down on troops a bit.. also dunno whos playing Centre yet.. hasnt been updated.
If they play RFM next week in front of Nick then Flanno has officially lost the plot. The kid was 18th man vs Canberra, Canterbury and Nth QLD. It’s time to put him in the 17

Sometimes it really seems Williams is hiding. Trying to get involved as little as possible.
Just after I stated that, he came up with a very strong carry right into the teeth of Newtown and dragged a couple of their forwards 3 or 4 metres. Need to see it more!

Judging by that first half, control the ball just a bit better. Fewer mistakes, fewer penalties conceded, we win this IMO.

As soon as the intensity in defence lifted and we started to gain field position we have put on points and stopped Newtown scoring

First Half Notes:
- Jets tore us apart early from their very first run.. slashing runs through the middle... defence looked a lot like first grade and the cows last night... Halangahu exposed defensively, though not alone... Jets racking up a 16-0 lead.
- We did seem to settle things down from there though.. been hard with a huge Henson Park crowd and the ref was giving them everything.
- Cyrus is looking great again (hopefully he doesnt drop back to flegg again), Nick is the big difference though.. when he runs at the line he always pushes 1-2m thru it.. scored a try also.. Lyric been rly good too, copped a few heavy hits, hopefully no serious damage.. he stayed on. Ramsey sharp also.. so good having him back..
- 16-10 at Half-Time.. luckily we r back in the game.. will not be easy though.. did a lot of early D... but its here if were good enough.

Needed those 2 late tries. This is what I have waited all season to see. Not the normal running up a big lead but being well behind and showing some character and structures to get back into a game.
This is a good test that they needed before next weeks Warriors game. If they have it in them to dig themselves out of the hole.
