Play it regardless of conditions. Used to love watching an old fashioned 'mud bath'. I was knee hi to a grasshopper in my first ever live game the '63 GF and it rained for virtually the entire 80mins. Was a famous game as the iconic GLADIATORS NRL statue was born that day..

Bartv has now confirmed it . Was not doubting you Jd. Honestly, a wash out, this is rugby league played by big boys not wimps, with 'mud baths' a norm of the past. So is Ressies also a washout as that is being played at a waterlogged 'Gong' too.

Half Time (8-10 Down):
- Crazy conditions.. gale force wins.. balls going backwards.. first grade will be interesting..
- First try disallowed, CST playing ctr and obstructed a defender.... shame.
- Came good though with Glover going through himself and had a runner either side but went himself and got the try.. goalkicking not rly possible in these conditions unless maybe in front.. 4-0.
- 3rd opportunity on their line and they penalise us for not touching the ball when playing it.. fmd.. thats never called anymore, half of the players dont touch it..
- Both teams very physical up front.. finals teams.. eventually we get one Ilias getting a ball out to Ramsey who gets CST away.. who just backs himself and noone is gonna stop him. 8-0.
- Lyric saves a try with a contested Cleary bomb on our line but then they get one on him later.. Cleary with a very late offload and Lyric wasnt quite able to push the winger into touch.. was a fair effort from the try scorer.. ffs Cleary kicks it from the sideline easily with the wind behind him... 8-6.
- Relatively soft try off a rough call.. Ilias sort of rushed up off the line but Lyric wasnt quite there yet (he was the marker) and it left a gap for an easy one.. 8-10.
- Couple of errors in there Buchanan and Williams come to mind.. in a tight game against a team on 14-straight.. those moments could be the difference.. but we are in it....
Yes I noticed the swap. I hope we can use the wind in the second half and get a penalty or two going our way.

Two moderate games both on the wing, compared to his many more brilliant ones. Dont like Lyric being pushed to wing for his aerial skill as for mine he always looks more comfortable at centre where he has the room to use his ball skill.
