The very definition of a forum is an arena where a group of individuals can exchange views and ideas and have conversations about issues that concern them. I and Eric Eric try to ensure that these exchanges are done in a non personal and in a civil manner. Hope we are accomplishing that

It should be talaki & mulitalo v suli & sloan. I wouldn't mind seeing us kick in behind Talaki to exploit his lack of turning speed. Also just target him in defence too. I'd also like to see Sloan take the immediate run from dummy half after Suli's run. As Suli is able to attract multiple defenders & gets quick ptb compared which creates space & momentum. Like we see liddle & cook taking darts from dummy half after quick ptb or scattered defence but imagine it's sloan or sloan being nearby for support. I think it's a way we can play to his strength for our advantage. Simple but effective imo.

My main concern is the Buchanan v Ramien match up. I wish the very best for the kid but that's exactly what he is a kid and if you really want to analyse it our 3rd string ressies centre.

Look dont get me wrong anyone who pulls on a 1sts jersey has realised their childhood dream, and he will do his very best no doubt but its the old kid v man scenario.

I've watched all his ressies games and his U19 SOO game and to my old coaching eyes he isnt ready for 1sts but I hope he makes me eat my words.

I predict the team won't win but Buchanan will have a good game and more than hold his own against Remien.

2 debuts in 1 game is almost unheard of.. wonder if the shackles r off a bit after flannos extension... that said injury city..

I was listening to Kemp on a podcast yesterday talk about the penrith forwards.. and this is exactly what ive been saying about Halangahu.. he said that you notice that none of their forwards try to wrestle for an extra metre or 2 to pad the stat sheet.. they hit the ground get a fast play the ball so the next runner (and the team) get the benefit... I did notice 1 run recently when Jacob did that.. its the first time ive ever seen it... and I assume someone finally had the chat with him.. as impressive as it looks when he wrestles and carries blokes like a tractor.. eventually they get 2 or 3 blokes there to man handle him, slow everything down and arresnt any momentum gained.. that will be amplified in first grade also.. I hope that is the message today, forget stats.. dont drop the ball and get to ground quickly.

Double edged sword. To just surrender rather than try to bust tackles isn't going to do anyone any good.

Yeah he would have to be off the bench you would think, is he going to be defending with Buchanan potentially? Seems risky..

I would like to see Jacob just play in the middle 1 game and see how it looks, but I would have preferred to have seen that in NSW Cup.

Blake Lawrie does it but to no effect at all, makes no PCM and drops to the deck but fairly often they pick him up and drive him back a metre or 2

The eye test page on twitter had him ranked as one of the worst props statistically in the NRL which is to the surprise of nobody
