Woke to the news that the Roos finished the job in the second 40 smacking the Poms bum 26-6 with debutant Reece Walsh the star. Our engine room did what it had to but sure like to see some size added. Mark N was dangerous on the flank. I want Bradman Best in for Staggs in second Test.

After watching that game the Roo's clearly needed a hitout. Once they got things going the poms had no answer to speed and speed to burn. IMO Walsh is very close to becoming the No 1 player in the game, he hardly made any tackles but was highly explosive. Anyway good on the boys they should have no problem making this a clean sweep, just goes to show how far behind the pommy game is to ours when it really counts.

Jd several Poms not to give room to, Young, Farnworth, Welsby and Pearce-Paul.

Yes Jd we went to another level after oranges, dominating possession and were unlucky not to score a couple more. Crichton has more pace than I credited him, a not all that shabby step too.

Don't know how the Poms come back from that. Reality is at this level when you create a chance to score then you need to score. The Poms had their chances especially in the 1st half but couldn't.

Hate to say it but Walsh was my MOM, 242m run, 2 line breaks, 2 tries just ahead of Chrichton who took up the the challenge after we lost Yeo.

I thought our bookends were ordinary but so were the Poms, you can now see the impact Haas has in the middle of the park.

All in all we won but both those teams would be doing it tough in the current Pacific championship against the better teams especially in the forwards.

Anyway I'm off to the airport.
