It is having the opposite affect Jd as is dredging up bitter memories. You only have to look at this list and weep. We have forgotten another Griffin master stroke to go with Norman, McGuire, McCrone, the worlds slowest hooker. Now what was his name, McDonald? At least Mybe had useful utility skills and Woods played his guts out every game tho he was well past his best.

Woods tried hard. Even Corey Norman tried. Was just that late in their careers the game had evolved and they were left behind.

Ah yes it was supposed to be a good indicator as how good we have been in recruiting in the last 10 years, we could have gone further but that would have been really embarrassing. All jokes aside though, the problem wasn't with the players, they were who they were, the problem was the people that got them to the club. They are the real duds and continue to be. So HOPEFULLY now that DA is there, who I believe is not a dud, maybe he can change things. BUT what do we do if he cant ?

Hunts best was only Hunt's best when Widdop was there, as soon as Widdop left and everything was on Hunt he collapsed like a deck of cards. With his holding the club to ransom and his insidious announcement of wanting to leave the club whilst on SOO duty puts him virtually at the top of worst recruits the club has ever had.

He had no love for the club, his team mates or supporters, he was a pay cheque player who certainly didn't earn the salary he was being paid. His press conferences were diabolical not to mention his leadership. Simply he gave us F$#k all and got paid a shitload to do it. Christ you cant even say he mentored our juniors and thank god he didn't.

NRL bans our best forward because they think what he was charged with (but eventually cleared of) reflects badly on them (probably does but if someone makes a bogus accusation and corrupt cops press charges, can't be helped. Have to just deal with it.) so NRL compensates us by letting us sign Pat Kaufusi🤣. Have to laugh in order not to cry.

Well done Eric, another blast from the past. I was trying to remember who was that big dude we got, ended up having some massive injury and had to retire, I'm not sure if he even played a game for us.

I believe he played a few, like 3 or 4, got dropped and then injured. But I could be wrong.

The combination of Hunt with Widdop and a good pack of forwards in that period in 2018 got us to a semi but the next year of 2019 we ended up coming 15th from 16 teams. In 2020, our man Norman joined the club and his combo with Hunt got us to ending up in 12th position. Two duds playing in the same team. Poor choice in the signing of Norman to replace Widdop.

We need a bloody good halfback and if Reed is the guy, I can't wait to see him play in the big league.

Results for a few years before that went off a cliff whenever JDB was injured. And 2020 was the first year of JDBs suspension. By far our best forward in that period which included Frizell, Sims, Graham and others.
