According to DT, Souths have upped their offer but Parra are in the drivers seat at this moment. I don't understand why that would be. Both us and Parra are offering 1 mil a year but Parra for 4 years us for 5. Why would be prefer to go to Parra and play under Ryles than come to the Dragons and play under Flanno? If this turns out to be the case, have to ask questions about Flanno.
He’s from Western Sydney, if he joins Parra he wouldn’t have to re-locate his family

Souths reported to have upped his offer. It was reported they were offering 900K a year. So Souths offer must be about the same just for one year less. He might fancy himself of getting another contract after the 4 years so I don't think the extra year will do a great deal to sway him. Though I agree questions should be asked about Flanno's inability to recruit top players. He says Cook, Holmes and Gutho were marquee recruits. Who does he think he is fooling?
2 of the 3 weren't wanted by their clubs due to salary cap issues and Gutho just wasn't wanted.

I like the club didn't offer more. 1 mil was a fair offer, good for both club and player. Any more than that, it was benefiting the player more than the club. That's the way I see it anyway.

Any possibility of doing a deal with them for Latrell Mitchell? I thought he wanted to play fullback and he is getting paid to play fullback. They might entertain an offer to take him off their hands if Dragons pay 100% of his salary.
