Mini Halangahu winning south coast trials POTC a year young

These guys have a habit of cleaning up junior rep accolades

I made a post last year about Seluki.. that he had an unusual frame to make it as a middle.. but I wondered if maybe he was just a year young.. and it turned out that he was indeed a year young at the time.. definitely one of the highlights out of that Dragons U17 squad this year, him and Rokko.. I think both will go to 19's next year, so I hope we can stack that side a little.

Rokko Walker is the biggest waste of talent I have ever seen from a coach/team.

He is lucky to get the ball once in an attacking set.
Last week we had 3 sets 15 tackles in a row inside the 20 and he got the ball once.

So despite an injection of all those imports from recognized nurseries, Saints Matts Cup and Ball Cup bomb out again.
Not much joy for promotion to Ball next season. probables: Luc Halangahu, Jet Peagram, Rokko Walker, Sione MA’AMEIVAI. possibles: George Kupu, Joel Bishop, Charlie Rapp, Jack Lambert, Matari Toomey.

Or Ball players to Flegg. Probables: Pupualii twins, Jaeden Kavana, possibles: Iverson Pauga, Braddock Taylor, Lorima Saukuru, Rauna Ryder-Kingi

Last week we had 3 sets 15 tackles in a row inside the 20 and he got the ball once.

Just watched the second half of the game against Manly in Matts. Yes they played away from him way too much. He certainly is a talent.

Surely that is the way to go. No point in 2 teams getting flogged most of the time. This would make the club a much more attractive destination for talented young players from outside the catchment but still provide plenty of opportunity for the best locals as well.

I was going to ask if there was any chat about him being fast-tracked like Burto, or hes maybe 1yr too young still? Seems as likely as any other young player though.. anywhere 1 thru 6.

I know we have some useful spine players but what about the 3/4s


Tausala ?? seems very big/strong .. does he have the all round centre game?
Cornelius?? big but does he have the speed ..

Do we have any that have it all, big/fast/skillful?

Tausala looks good, very dangerous in the opposition 10m, has great power and strength..
Cornelius may end up in the forwards, not sure as yet on him, want to see how he develops over the year and next year..
