I'm sure other clubs are taking notice of Willie talau too. I reckon he'd be getting offers sooner rather than later for assistant coach or some better position. We need to lock him up long term but dunno how he'd feel about his senior coaching ambitions with Dean Young around.

I watched the replay on Hudl, so no commentary, might have to watch it on Bar TV now.
Jack is excellent - really hope he gets a role with commentating at higher levels. Hopefully he will do some more BarTV games through the year.

He did a lot of Sheffield Shield Cricket during summer, he has also been family busy with a toddler and new born.

When we signed Lawson I looked at some of his 7’s highlights and thought he was going to be a good buy for us. He had some reasonably good moments last year from time to time but overall I think we would all agree was disappointing. On Saturday he was at best solid. I know he has had a long layoff and the thing that disappoints me most is that in attack he is a less effective version of Moses Suli. He doesn’t seem to have any evasive skills and regularly gets hit hard because the defenders know he is just going to run straight so they can line him up. I would be surprised if he is extended.
Jacob was really strong as per usual and he is a middle in waiting in my opinion. He did his usual powerhouse runs and as you probably saw in the highlights scored a good try. He needs some time in NRL as he is obviously better than the likes of Lawrie and Guler.
Surely an NRL call up. I agree he was fantastic on Saturday.
How demoralising for a young player. Putting up numbers like this and still not getting a chance at first grade over seasoned plodders like lawrie and sele. Has to be in the nrl team this week.

we need to show love to the entire squad, esp those under contract for 2027.
