No he wasnt but he was our #7 and we conceded 100 pts in those two games. Those are the facts, not saying Kade was the main reason, but you must admit he appears to be out of his depth at this career stage. I too dont wanna lose him but we cant keep going into games yr after yr with the same dud halves and expect to suddenly become a top side. Aint gonna happen. Metcalfs record shows he is a good half and he wants to play #7 and run the side. So if the only way we can land him is to offer him four yrs, so be it.

If Suli is going we need a quality replacement if we are going to improve. We are weak in outside backs putting it mildly so who is out there that we could recruit? It is probably someone under contract now who would be released as there doesn’t seem to be any quality available who is a free agent for next year.

Sorry to see him go as he has always put in 100% for us, even tho he has lacked the skill factor.
So now we need a centre with size, agility and skill. Not much to ask. Oh for a clone of Best or Crighton. Pity Cornelius Papuali is only 17/18 as he looks in their mold. I say fast track him.
We need someone ready to go now. They must have someone lined up.

Daniel Anderson would definitely not be going after Luke Metcalf if he didnt think he was good enough. He knows a good half when he sees one.

I cant see why you think that Metcalf and Reed when he is ready cant be the halves pairing, I know they both said they want to be a 7 but you can still control a side from 6.

Yep Agree, at the end of the day its up to Metcalf on where he really wants to go, but his initial choice was a Sydney Club.
