Round 13 v Broncos Sunday.

If Guler/Kerr/Lawrie are on the bench i am ok for two of the three to rotate on .. but our attacking shape was pretty poor all game, a lot of tries coming off the back of kicks/luck rather than constructed tries.

Luc not playing did hurt our attacking shape and potency ... if not him then we need another.
Kerr was on for a blink of an eye, made 2 good straight runs then that was it, Lawrie well he was on for longer he tries very hard but you couldn't have him in 1sts in 27 even on the bench and Guler he was in between the two was solid but nothing memorable

They did their jobs and helped us win.

It is more about effective lock than effective Edge. Stewart is a good target in the air and does run the ball well ... Just think he is a lot better in 13 and lose one of Kerr/Guler/Lawrie from the middle and maybe share the couch workload a little more
He's definitely a better lock but just saying, it looks to me he could become a very good edge backrower as well. Next year Couchies will have a lot more help with KK and LPT continuing to improve. I thought after the Couchman's and Stewart, he was our best forward today. Also if Hutchinson is in line for the NRL next year, and it seems he is, he'll do plenty of work.

Great win, the most noticeable thing was our halves straightening up the attack, and Young mentioned this. We run straight we look good, we run sideways and we go back to our old selves where the attack really looks crap. Enjoy the song and remember what it feels like.

I had to turn the TV off @ 12-0 up, and go work in the garden and listen on the radio.. was much easier.. cant believe they still made me wait till the last 15 seconds to get it done.. cant help but imagine if TPH could have made the last tackle also... and Gutho calf injury they said...

So just back inside now, catching up on a few comments:
Setu Tu’s IQ must be a record low, does so much dumb shit every week
Listening to him, he seems like such a sweet man.. an absolute angel (apart from when he gave Tuaupiki a serve, obv some bad feelings there), but seems like his footy IQ is just non-existant... I dont think its gonna come good in time.. I think hes just a really simple bloke, and whatever is missing is purely mental, cause physically hes got the skillset...

Young Head Coach announcement incoming I reckon
Praying you are being tongue in cheek.. that was a good run hard tackle hard performance, but when I look at whats needs to bring this side together next year.. I do not think Young is our man...

Stewart on an edge is way better than throwing one of the couchmans there, he’s way more mobile laterally and has a bit of 2nd phase + good hand eye coordination. A fancy way of saying I think he’s more skilled and has traits which suit playing on an edge better than the couchmans

That being said, I think their all better in the middle,
Couldnt believe they had him playing left side today, yet he looked better than on the right.. he's versatile as f***, I mean I feel like we do need him as a lock moving forward, but for now, him and Egan are 2 very good defensive options in the 2nd row.. Hamish looks like the Couchies in physique.. but he hits different.. his angles, and his ability to get his arms free to offload.. like he seems to create things.. just got to avoid those short passes in traffic that he has a habit of putting down... many would tbf.

Hamish leading the team song how good
So f***ing good, I wasn't sure who it would be but the second I saw him.. it was so obvious.. the heart of our forward pack moving forward, the spiritual successor to JDB... the passion today was brilliant (as it should be), im just gonna rewatch it over and over later tonight and finish with a cold shower.
