i'm pretty sure (Stand to be corrected) we have tried signing Blore a few times and missed out on him, when he was at Penrith and when he was at the WT.

i know that recruitment is staffed by men and men traditionally can only do one thing at a time, but pretty sure even these men are capable of running multiple contract negotiations simultaneously.
Outside backs, forward depth, junior retentions .. all conversations that need to be happenning and i am sure are happenning.
Ryan/Toby have a manager who is no doubt decent at his job and would be saying after origin is the best time because we know where you stand as players.
Ryan we know now is in camp with origin team and that has an impact on his worth.

Dragons star requests release

St George Illawarra forward Luciano Leilua has requested an immediate release from the club.
The back-rower has not been offered a new contract for next season – has prompted him to want to leave before the June 30 transfer deadline.
A release was formally requested this week in the hope Leilua can get a fresh start at another club. While the club has not yet provided a definitive answer, it is likely the 30-year-old has played his last game in the Red V.
Given the Dragons aren’t in finals contention, releasing Leilua could save them salary cap funds that could go towards another recruitment target, or to bump up the salaries of one of their promising juniors

Sua is gone for the season.. so Leilua may still be quite useful to us.. we're only half way thru the season.. that said if its a personality thing.. well so be it.
Would like something for ourselves before June 30 though.. I've lost track of our 30, we did have 2 spots.. unless Tu took 1 of em..
