Jd his Vegas debut was good then he fell off a cliff, now probably after some tuff words from the a/c he is finally playing consistent mistake free footy, thus the upgrade. If we cant pick up this powerful strike centre/wingman we are after for next season, then Tu will make a useful replacement until we can imo. Still prefer both Te Moananui or Heidke for FG over him but they need to be back playing to be promoted. Couple of others I'd not rule out are Fale and Rumble with both playing good ressies footy.

If Stewart returns to the middle rotation we are going to struggle to find minutes for Keaon, 2x couchman, LPT, Stewart etc. probably not the worst thing that everyone doesn’t have to play huge minutes every week and can work on a rotation to keep them rested throughout the year. Either way it’s a good problem to have.

He's off contract. DA has moved very quickly to get rid of the deadwood but needs to get rid of Flanagan, Suli and Gutho. I don't think Gutho is all that bad but obviously he's been going around a bit too long.

The deadwood will eventually go which will be good for the club going forward in leaps and bounds. Next year will be the start of more end of games songs being sung by our players I am sure of that. The recruitment is fully in the hands of a very experienced recruitment and retention and termination person who has no favourites and needs to be ruthless and unendearing as to who to keep and who to boot and who to sign to make our squad 100% better than what we have had for the past 8-10 years.

What a career in the red V. In his first appearance in the trial v Roosters he produces that brilliant catch and kick to set up a try.. and then he doesn't do a single thing worth mentioning after that.
