Guler over Kerr/Lawrie is a hill i will die on ... even last weekend Kerr showed derp and was hooked ... Guler is a better option ...

Nick certainly didnt put his best foot forward with respect to demanding 1st grade selection.

LPT/cook/Toby/Luc/Egan/Stewart - Liddle/Ryan/Guler/Jake

Next season
KK/Watson/Toby/Blore/Egan/Stewart - Liddle/Ryan/Loko/Jake (assuming we get blore or a different edge).

That ensures we don't lose anything during the run of the game with subs and we can reduce minutes improve quality esp in the twins.


the last two spots should be an outside back and spine cover .. LKT/Fale

I think Todd Payten was happy to say goodbye Deano. Blake Green and Paul Wellens are Payten's assistants now and they have been more successful than Deano was. The thing is Deano is well liked by the playing group and are now coming good. They all look forward to training under his lead moreso than having Flanno. If it is out of Deano or Hornby, I think Deano will get the gig. It will be much easier to coach a team containing better players, which is somewhat of an obvious statement. Young to me might get better results when Daniel Anderson culls the team of deadwood and signs up a couple more fast and strong externals and re-signs several of the young ones we have to complete our squad to compete in 2027 and onwards.

There is no-one readily available. I will not be happy if they approach Madge Maguire if he is on the outer at the Broncos. Our players will not perform under him.

My sentiments exactly, and particularly after the ugly Lomax/Hunt dragged out public exit. If Young (I'd like to see Talau as well) really does have the playing group (including 2027 new recruits), well, perhaps we could do worse. An LPT contract extension beyond '27 (which hopefully happens) would be nice! I've read (somewhere) he's keen to stay!

Personally I haven't ruled out CST of joining Egan in the second row as early as next year. He certainly has the natural ability. Just needs to stay fit and put in the hard work.

The 3 amigos. Always something when they’re on the field. I’d still have Jacob and Nick getting some first grade experience for 2027 over those 3. Cup is done, focus on those 2 for next year. That’s my opinion

They need to keep playing Nick in the back row especially now that other outside backs are back from injury. He’s better than Cyrus in my opinion
