Just watched the 10min mini-game, the NSWRL scorecard has all the points being scored in the 1st half, they have the wrong times for the tries basically.. manly scored all their points in a row essentially, we were down 10-14 @ the 36min mark, we scored and led 16-14 at half time.. at the 65min mark noone had scored a point in the half.. so still 16-14.... then we went on our run to finish the game with 24 unanswered points in the last 14minutes.

Couple of interesting points:
  • Morkos is as strong as an ox.. I dunno how to assess if he has the full game or the drive to pursue it.. but if its a T&Trial with us I like that... if not the centre skills maybe the right wing position.. it just would mean we are gonna need Holmes to play ctr.. Sami is our other winger... Ctr is our issue + fullback depth.
  • Great seeing Reed play well, goalkick well.. stay healthy.. like he is the future we hope.. who knows if he gets a game next week.. I reckon probably yes, plus the cup season is over now.
  • Halangahu had 1 run where he did that thing where he carries blokes on his back.. he did it from 20m out, the 3rd and 4th defenders dropped off to get back in the line thinking the tackle was basically over.. but it wasnt.. Jacob just carried the other 2 over the line.. I mean I dont like Jacob doing this too often in the top grade cause hes just giving us a slow play the ball, particularly against stronger men, but this was quite hilarious.

Yes. I’ve heard Gus Gould talk about this. Just having a higher standard of player/team for guys that aren’t quite ready for cup but too good/old for flegg can play against men in Ron Massey cup
