Roosters have scored 82 tonight

We’ve scored 102 points as a team since round 14

Gheez we deserve to have a few games where we put 40 on sides next year, been in the wrong end of these blowouts far too much

Roosters 105 points in their last 2 games.
Our high scores are 30 & 24 then all 20 or lower.
It's astounding how far off the pace we are, the spoon is wrapped up 6 weeks before the end of the comp.

But its all good Deano gave the boys an extra day off this week and 3 days off last week.

Deano is just going from bad to worse. He seems to be making up as he goes along without any kind of coherent plan.

Deano might be the first head coach sacked before formally becoming head coach.

I might be over negative. If he gets good assistants and orders that those assistants should have more power than typical assistants and to have Daniel Anderson supervising him, he might be good. Have to wait and see. But he sux badly as interim head coach and sucked badly as an assistant.

Just going by Deano's assistant coaching history, how have the Board agreed to his appointment as head coach. As an assistant, he would be instrumental in ensuring our defence was great and we know that it wasn't one bit both for the Dragons and Cowboys. I hope I am wrong for next year with the new players coming - his assistants will need to do their thing and eliminate anything that Deano had in his bag of tricks.

I'd just like to congratulate the club on achieving the ultimate success, yes both the NRL and NRLW teams are officially last on the ladder. Probably one of our biggest achievements in recent years, may we hold those spoons high and with gusto. We better start praising our JF squad because they are our shinning lights in this ultimate disgusting year.
In his famous quote Tim Watsford said "we want to be a club that wins everything" well I dare say Mr Watsford , mission complete, you have won both spoons.

Not much to cheer about with our results for the men's and women's comps in 2026. Both ended up with the wooden spoon while the Cup guys finished 11th and the Steelers SG Ball finished 11th and Dragons SG Ball ended up 15th. Harold Matthews ladder positions - Steelers 4th and Dragons 14th and the South Coast Steelers finishing 10th in the Ron Massey comp. The best the Dragons achieved was 1st in the Jersey Flegg comp with a good chance of taking out the premiership (fingers crossed).

So overall the joint venture club had a poor season while looking at the overall league scene, the Penrith area dominated in most comps where the juniors are maintaining their strength. If Penrith had a womens team I would imagine that they would also be strong.

I am hoping that 2027 will be a vastly improved Dragons/Steelers year ladder wise in all comps.

We are miles behind in our systems, coaching pathways, development, marketing and interaction with fans

Penrith could win all 3 grades and they will still look at improvements.
Panthers post about the Flegg side win got 18000 likes that's more than our NRL posts get.

Meanwhile not one post from the club about the Flegg game on Saturday, but there were 10 posts about the NRLW game celebrating our loss and wooden spoon.

We have a f*ck of a long way to go to just be competitive as a club let along make top 8, top 4, GF.

That is so depressing. Is Watsford to blame?

A pretty sad state of affairs. Here we are, we have a brand new C of E this year and it is like "so what". People say its a great Centre and yet the people in the Administration are so ignorant of how the Club should be run in all the grades and to promote all grades and players no matter what their contribution might have been - winners and losers - it doesn't matter just give them plenty of gratitude and make them feel 100% proud of what they have achieved and what they can achieve.

Brett Morris will not look back. He has said that the way that the Roosters operate is second to none and similarly the same can be said about Penrith. Their success over the past 7 years is nothing short of being brilliant. Their Administration we could do with.

Medals night, which young forward is going to get player of the year...
Hamish was getting most of thec accolades among non-Dragons supporting media but I'm going with Toby. Toby, Ryan and Hamish are going to dominate. Best player, players player, best forward, coaches award (unless Flanno gets to choose in which case it'll be Kyle.) and what others will they be eligible for? Any they are eligible for, they'll win.
