I agree that seems to be the case right now. Which is why I think the club is justified in forcing the situation. I don't like it. I'm against psychological bullying but as someone pointed out earlier, they have been psychologically bullying the club.

The following need to be told:

Suli: 'If you don't take the ESL offer, you are going to be reserve grade prop next year.'

Kyle: 'We are offering half your remaining contract money to walk away. You know as well or better than everyone else you didn't get a contract on merit. It's our fault for letting your father get away with it. But $****** for absolutely nothing is a good deal for you. Take it or you're mowing the grounds of the COE and fetching the ball for reserve grade training.'

Gutho: Actually, I like Gutho. He was always overpaid but that's not his fault. Flanno was just that incompetent and that desperate to show he could attract players. Not his fault the moment he started to noticeably slow down was the moment the game sped up. So I don't really know how to handle the Gutho situation. He has no business in first grade next year unless Drinkwater is injured early.

I we should be able to do what we want with players, especially underperforming, but in many cases we would have the RLPA on our backs calling out work conditions etc. Best he leaves on his own accord rather than us pushing the point.

True. Especially in regard to Kyle mowing the lawns, it may not be legally possible. But if it is, that's what I'd do. Suli being told he will prop in reserve grade shouldn't be an issue.

As is, what does Kyle think he'll be doing next year? Nikorima and Metcalf are halves, LKT and Reed are the first back ups and then there is Hodges. I can't even see how Kyle can be on the bench for reserve grade.

I've repeatedly said I'm against psychological bullying but as others have pointed out, the Flanagan family treated the club like garbage.

Personally I'm neutral on Sloan staying or going. As for Kerr, I could understand Flanno not extending JDB. Certainly not for 2 years. But was gobsmacked when he signed Josh Kerr only a week or 2 later.

By this time next year, who will be left from Flanno's recruits? No one? Can Holmes come out with very strong form early next season and will that be enough to gain a much reduced extension or has his shocking form this year mean he's done?
