Suli, Holmes, Gutho all on big money and all off contract and possibly only Holmes offered a new deal on way less money. So the club is going to have a truck load of money to throw at a couple of outside backs. Burton will get a big upgrade. That seems certain. But even accounting for that, still a truck load of money.

I think the only club with more money to spend on an outside back will be PNG. So Bostock will be coming home, staying in Redcliffe or going to PNG. I beleive the Roosters will sign Farnworth and Bostock stays at the Dolphins. Maybe Farnworth and Bostock are playing a game of contract chicken with each other. Each waiting for the other to sign elsewhere to see if the Dolphins will then up their offer for the other.

I'm bettin old Wayne is going to let Latrell Mitchell hop away to Perth and snare Bostock.

Actually that’s a good point bostock or Famworth waiting for huge offers so than the phind have no choice but to up the anti to sign them.. Burton upgrade I think they will be watching him closely and other clubs will circle to see if he hits open market and what will he be worth next year being quoted by the club he is there long term fullback.

Is he in line for fullback? I thought it had been decided centre is his best position. Really it makes sense for him to play centre. To me his strengths seem to match that of a centre perfectly.

He was brought as the long term fullback was my understanding but obviously that could change in a heartbeat but to come in Flegg as a centre. Purdue style I am guessing to see how a 17 year old could handle the pressure harder hits and work rate. Which I think he passed with flying colours definitely top 3 every game he played the last few months

I'm betting Souths let go of Mitchell and sign Bostock.

The Mitchell out Bostock in is a possibility.. I would be surprised if Souths are able to lock that in within the coming month though.. i.e. that they are rock solid that Latrell is leaving... the way the Roosters are rock solid that Walker is leaving..

Jack was in a video I saw this morning catching bombs with like a gopro or something.. and he even mentioned 'this is the way Wayne taught me' ffs lol.. he loves the old fella..but I still think we r favourites, but I just think other clubs will try to turn his head once hes back in the country.. or once the musical chairs finishes with best, mitchell, herbie etc..... just depends how much of a hurry he is in.... i.e. I hope the rumours are true that its unofficially done already.

All this talk is well and truly getting out of hand now. It could be that the Sharks will be entering in the race to sign Bostock as they will be losing Katoa and Ramien to the Cowboys. Another AFB moment?
