As a guide

FRF 1: TC 50min/JH 30min = 80min
FRF 2: LPT 30min/ RC 50min = 80min
Lock: KK 50min/ Watson 30min = 80min
HOK: Lidds 60min/ Watson 20min = 80min
2rf: Stewart & Egan = 80min

3 reserves used = Watson, JH & RC. Roughly 6-7 rotations
1 reserve spare = injury or tactics. Should be 1 rotation

- I'd like to have one of the couchman twins on the field at all times, would start RC from the bench.
- I want LPT to start for the early physical exchanges then bring on RC against fatigued middles.
- I'm not fussed who starts between Lidds or Watson.
- Ball playing middle would be great to link our halves & edges. Ideally it's Stewart in 2028 or 2029.

KK is the Dragons highest paid player. I'd have him on for 60~65. He was playing even longer than that at Souths. I know Souths didn't have the luxury of 2 Couchman's playing a lot of minutes in the middle but I'd still like Dean Young to find a way to have all 3 on for a lot of minutes.

i mean it says Metcalf returning late Nov but we have been told that he has already started getting to know some of the team and putting kicks up ... from socials we know Webster/Hutch/Jake have been training as well.

Formally maybe Nov 2 but informally its already started

Players can't afford to miss 8 weeks of training.
In other years they be at their local gym/field but with the facilities at the CoE you'd be mad not to take full advantage.

I makes no sense to me either. I thought Couchman playing about 60 min at lock and Watson 20 along with 20 at hooker was a winning formula. Who is he going to have play prop now? Both Couchman's, LPT and Webster? Across the 4, it's a bit light, isn't it?
All I know Eric is that we were wanting that go forward alpha prop in the middle, and we were very happy when KK signed for that reason. I know where Bennett was using him, yep doesn't make sense.

Forget the number on the back ... treat them as middle forwards as this is pretty much how young will use them ...
KK will get the longer minutes, wear 13, run for 150 odd metres a game and be our leader in the middle. He might also pass the ball before the line a few times a game on big shifts.

Think JT for the cows back when Young was AC there.

TPH spotted on the Dragons insta
We were just talking about whether he would be back on a T&Trial perhaps (or a dev) for the year, on the fence as to whether he will make it longterm, but as fullback depth for drinkwater... him and Atko I think r the most likely for this season, I saw this photo on their facebook page, think thats his baby face:

Is third in from the right in the last row the (ever more less) lanky frame of Rumble? If he can cut the stupid errors and put on a few more kgs while maintaining speed, I think he might be an outside who has mostly flown under the radar but is ready for a breakout season.
honestly I dont think Toby had any stupid errors in 2026.. not like years gone by... huge hope for him tbh.. might not be a superstar but just a cookie cutter, tall and very fast winger.. can dive for a put down.. like u said.. few more kilos and work on his hitups... plus hopefully the ability not to pick up injuries and I think hes there.. but I think Morkos is next up.. dude is almost too big though for the wing.. so meaty.

Aye Morkos has Muscles where humans have never had muscles before

Bit of Lebanese Robert Toia vibe about him, he’s a better rugby league player than 31 Year old Val Holmes and I’m actually half serious

Also seen Joey o Neil in a training montage video and that’s ruined my day. Garbage footballer. Thankfully he’ll be Usurped VERY quickly by more talented players at the club

Thats (*apparently not!*) Jesse Williams.. I keep thinking he has left footy.. and he keeps re-appearing...

Until he puts a block of solid footy together though.. I cant really think of him as serious wing depth unlike Morkos, Toby, Burton and other OB's like Buchanan and TPH. That said I dont mind that a player spends a few extra years in development.. atleast they will be more mature/solid when they get there.

I'm guessing you've never seen Ollie without his headgear on.
