looks like they will let us trial the new kick-off rule also in certain games (now that we are out of finals contention), I've always been keen on this rule change, even though I know it triggers a lot of people who like things to stay 'as is'.

Hodges has a few years in flegg iirc, i.e. already has a few years experience on Reed and co.. so will be good to have him as a supplementary player... not sure how well it would translate up the grades.. but only one way to find out.. gonna have to be patient now to see how cup goes next year...

I would have thought for any elite athlete, smoking anything wasnt remotely a thing... and the NRL is essentially a battle of which squad is fitter, and the standard is e-l-i-t-e led by the panthers... they can keep that pace up for 80+ minutes... so smoking of any type assumably decreases your...

Probably a fair point that Nick although not a ctr might be comparable.. Nick does get found out defending the goalline though... when they run fast men across him.. he is genuinely toast . Atkinson probably not bad depth either.. I still want to see him with a preseason though doing 'something'...
