Lodge was linked with a move to the Dragons at the start of the season before he was handed a lifeline with the Sea Eagles. He is weighing up his future and could move to the Super League to play under Brad Arthur. No talk of him coming to the Dragons which is good.Mug Fan please tell me it isn't true. Matt Lodge linked to move to Dragons?? Are we looking at another prop from up my neck of the woods, an unknown ?
Also Thurston raised the point that now that Flanno has had his contract extended to the end of 2028, it could see Dean Young looking to get a head coaching job elsewhere and has a get out clause in his contract with the Dragons, which expires at the end of 2027, if one is available for him to apply for.

Loved Dean Young as a player. From what I understand about his coaching, Ryan Carr should be in line for a promotion before Dean Young.

Ditto. A huge act to follow and the reason we will struggle next season, unless we get ourselves a quality play maker as this HAS to be our #1 priority. Jamal Fogarty has signed with the Eagles so there is one less option for us, while Rorters have given Sandon Smith permission to test the market, but is he the solution to our play making woes. Is even Atkinson? Who else is left for Anderson to have a crack at or is Flanagan standing in his way to protect his boy. What a bloody shambles this issue has become. For how long has Kade Reed been extended. Last thing we want is for some bludger club to poach him from under our noses.

Have faith RVH. That is all I can say. We know what we need and I am sure that Flanno and Anderson do as well. Things will work out. Saying by a guy with all fingers and toes crossed. Hahahaha!

You would have to think the LKT/Atkinson will be our halves pairing in 2026. The kid is still raw defensively but is improving, another off season on the tackling bags and one on one tackling tuition will help him and us.
Hes done nothing wrong to be dropped. Hence the $6m question what happens to Flanagan? Or is it a Atkinson/Flanagan halves combination?

Think about it, Tino has Canterbury/Melbourne interested who are solidified top 4 sides with big third parties and can still offer him big money
There’s the real possibility he’s thinking why would I leave the titans who haven’t made finals in years to go to another team who haven’t made finals in years?
Fingers crossed a strong end to the season (6 wins in a row potentially) and some Anderson magic can convince Tino to join because once you start listing the forward pack and Tino’s name is in the 10 Jersey it looks magnificent

I don’t expect us to get Tino whatsoever. If we did somehow manage to pull it off, how much would you guys be willing to pay for him? Don’t think he’d come down for any less then 1.4 mil per season which is some huge coin.
