We showed character by not folding after they scored to close within 6 of us with 15 still on the clock..

Jake my MOM, unstoppable with the ball, relentless in defense. Jeez hope Loko is back for the big one. He was terrific too before his injury. Corey best back with Nick not far behind. Has surprised me how settled he looks at centre.

A well coached team with quite a bit of 1sts experience. That was a gutsy win they showed character when the Warriors came knocking on the door at one stage we were in danger of being run down.

The most pleasing aspect was the defence we gave up only the 2 tries against a team who this season have avg 33 points a game. That is a massive confidence boost going into the GF in 2 weeks time .

Its wonderful finally seeing the big red v back on the big stage on GF day albeit in reserves but I for one love it.

Had to listen on audio only (not easy with kiwi commentators), and just watched the highlights then.. was a pretty dominant win for us, we should have put them away a few times in the 2nd half..

Both their tries had tonnes of b***sh** in them, where as ours were more conventional tries.. NickT's flick around the back pass to put Feagai over was a thing of beauty. Ramsey was heavily involved in a lot of it, one was his individual brilliance, but he always chimes into the backline with a bat on or something to create the space.

Onto a g/final, probably we play the warriors again you would think (who might have more troops drop back also), but we are absolutely a punchers chance of pulling off the title! Oh and even without Loko (while a shame for him), we have Fifita, Hutchinson, CST and possibly MMolo still in reserves.

Gee we have had some bad luck with injuries to our young rising stars this season. But the high impact of 1sts has found out a few before. Hopefully youth is on their side and all recover to play a role in our 1sts team in the coming years

If I can show my ignorance here but my question is, Does having an ACL reconstruction strengthen the ACL for the future ?
