How good has he been? I'd say way better than Josh Kerr and Blocka. But he's not on a top 30 or development contract as far as I know. With the younger boys like Hutchinson coming through, he might have to go elsewhere for a top 30 contract.

he wont play 6, may start him there but will move him out of 6 after a few losses.. "Jake" of all trades master of none..
He’d be great in the centres especially with Drinkwater and Metcalf coming.

Can only mean they are not interested in Latu Fainu.. cause thats surely the gun 6... plus they have talented kids.. they also have Luai for another year yet....
If he goes there its probably more because hes more confident in the benji-ball system.. cause hes guaranteed a started spot with us.. its very unusual to wait this close to the new season before signing.. hes been on market 6 months now.. its smart though cause fast OB's are hot hot hot.

I can’t believe how Latu Fainu has been dismissed at the tigs, think his ceiling is genuinely higher than Luai (who’s a bit overrated IMO)

1 year deals won’t become a frequent thing but I think they are such a benefit for the club especially when it’s a good player like Watson

It's disappointing but a lot of young guys his age kill it in schoolboy football but never make it in reserve grade let alone first grade. Finau Latu hasn't been sighted in first grade despite the poor form and injuries to big name Dogs forwards.
