Even though we didn't 'need' Watson.. missing him would be a setback we could do without.. and with Liddles injuries this past 6months or so, having a 2nd legit first grade hooker/14 makes me feel a lot better.. its also a 5th decent signing for 2027.. its enough talent that other prospective players will know its a new team they r coming into next year.. but still.. rest of the NRL has the same talent and years spenting forming combinations.... so someone needs to bake these raw ingredients into a cake of our choosing.. and I don't think Young is any good in the kitchen.
Supposedly we do have a contract for an OB on the table.. possibly its Averillo (or perhaps its someone completely different), but other rumour is Averillo's missus is keen to come back to Sydney.. heard Sharks mentioned as being after him though I bet its less cash.. we shall see.. off-contract for 2027 which is nice. Taulagi could be another given Cows have essentially told him he can go... other ones on market r guys like Arthars, DeCourtney, Tuala, Mason..

Yeah I rly want someone who can cover 1-5 ideally.. I'm worried about ctr and fullback depth.
Wouldnt say no to Taulagi cause him and Sami would be epic wingers, but hes on big coin and is another dedicated winger.. rly want someone who can cover Ctr.. especially with Feagai leaving.. and supposedly Suli/Val welcome to leave if they get an offer.. I guess there is Fale also, but I havent seen him stepping up quite yet.. so I'd prefer him + Buchanan + Heidke trying to push up from reserves.
