"I also don't want the young fwd pack having a wooden spoon mark in their career". Agree with you Dave03. Not a good thing to have on your resume. Not a good thing for us fans and club. If it happens, who will take responsibility for the fall and fail? Team morale will be low knowing the spoon is theirs if they don't win at least 5 of the last 7 games.

Agree Dave but we all really know who won the wooden spoon for the Dragons this year. Those individuals should wear it with pride because they really earnt it.

Expecting the usual today - you know, forwards doing great work while the backs fail to add much. But a win will give me more confidence for the future - not saying that the Titans are a good yardstick to go by - it will be helpful mainly for Deano seeing that he was announced the head coach on 20 July and this is his first game after that announcement. Will such an announcement result in the players playing better and win and do it for Deano or will everyone just take things easy knowing in the case of Deano he has the job and just go through the motions until next year?

No excuses today. Should win if Deano has gotten any improvement out of the team.

I know it won't happen but it would nice to have these clowns answer some serious questions. Something like:

Question: Why did you appoint DY?
Watsford and/or Creagh: Because we thought he was the best man for the job.
Q: On what basis did you decide that?
W: Based on the improvement in the team.
Q: So you think Flanno wouldn't have gotten a single win?
W: I didn't say that.
Q: So on what basis did you decide the team has improved under DY?
W: Based on the performance since DY took over.
Q: So the actual results don't matter at all? Improvement is merely a vague standard you have set?
W: I didn't say that.
Q: So on what basis did you decide the team has improved?
W: A general feeling around the club.
Q: So you make these decisions on the basis of your personal feelings?
W: I didn't say that.
Q: So whose feelings are we talking about?
A: Wayne Bennett said DY will be a head coach years ago.
Q: So based on WBs feelings? And is this the first time a club has made a decision based on the recommendation of a rival coach?
