Well done JF but what a debacle KOE was. I can understand losing but I've seen better defense at my local park. Talk about a rollercoaster run with this side,,, Jesus !!!

TPH was our best by a mile.

LKT was very poor. Don’t see him playing NRL again anytime soon barring a few injuries.

He is all heart, some of his bomb taking was awesome, his tackle on a real big body who made a break (possibly Junior Tupou) was all class, love to see him make his debut..

In terms of cup losing their way, they are still a solid team, but there are lots of other solid teams also..

There are 2 things going on imo:

1. The decline did start when Talau become the first grade assistant.. that legit could be just a coincidence.. but it could be less attention to detail from the coach given his priorities are now with first grade.
2. But more likely.. its the injuries to Reed then Hammoud.. thats our best 2 young 7's that could have led flegg and cup, or cup and 1sts.. its huge.. today the tigers had gun young spine players and gun outside backs.. we have reserve grade fillers in most positions.... and we more than competed fine in our forwards but didnt have the class to combat the backline class touches they had.. and it was those loose passes going to ground or the opposition that flipped the game 180 degrees a few times.. For us, TPH had a great game, but the rest of the spine were just average, and our opposition was better than average.

Willies selections and bench use recently could be questionable.
The dropping of Coults to bench and limit game time, after last week's near MOM performance.
The under use of Jackson even after losing Sele (Achilles).
Webster and Hutch played 60 straight.

CT and Moses had no impact.
