Been watching bits and pieces.. took us ages to finally get in front... then off a forward pass call against us... Warriors were over to score and take the lead straight back.... but somehow Daniel Meafou dives and knock it free as he grounds it.. absolute pivotal moment.
From there we have gone on with it.. they are broken... I think the halves have been good, Hodges in particular.. has landed a few conversions from the sideline too.

I agree from next season we should have a separate threads for Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup but for now is it ok to merge this with the main Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup thread?

You know that was an interesting game. Big difference in the size of the engine rooms. Warriors played to that strength in the 1st half and were rightly up at oranges.
So as a coach you always have contingency plans. If the original game plan isn't effective then change. And change we did.
Once we started making their engine room chase especially on the edges and keeping the ball in play the Warriors simply couldn't go with us.
Once we worked out that the bash and barge against a physically bigger pack wasn't working we decided to throw the ball out to our superior backline and it only took 6 min for Rumble to score.
The penny dropped after that and against a tiring pack we took control and in reality once Andrews was able to score 6 minutes later on the other side of the park the Warriors were a spent force.
Another try 6 minutes later by Langdon and the game was ours to lose. Then Andrews again scored 32 - 16 up was a fairer reflection of our dominant 2nd half. A late try by them added some respect to the scoreline.
Plenty of talent in that JF team, good skillset, speed and some smart thinkers, well coached as well. It must be said have been consistently good all season. We have a team that can go all the way to the GF and win it.
