I was a big Tariq fan but Nick looks comfortably bigger in this photo.

Tariq did something that Jack does but noone else I can remember for many years.. he doesnt stop when he hits contact.. he goes thru it like a block of concrete.. Nick is that guy.. I dunno if he stays 2nd row or not.. but hes not gonna have the fitness of Egan, but he brings something very different.. not sure on Jacob yet, hes still young.

A good problem to have, a number of genuine young backrowers playing for 1st grade spots. Depending on how they are actually used by the coach. Interesting to see the minutes each play this season

You know being a wog myself and being biased, all jokes aside, it was much easier to speak and guide those players who came to me on their way to the top who came from European backgrounds.

They just had a different upbringing, culture and understanding, just my experience and views. So that doesn't surprise me what you have said.

Nick T is the perfect bench utility. Covers ctr, edge and can play a leniu type prop impact role with his fast leg speed imo. I thought he handled himself pretty well against Ramien at centre.

Problem is that the club is overflowing with good second rowers. Luciano might find himself in reserve grade for most of the next year.

Yep, potentially strong area for us if the younger players develop. I'd like to see Su'a move into the middle to give opportunities to the younger players at 2rf & to see his effectiveness as a prop. He's got an awkward running style & ability to offload that suits the middle imo.

Someone like a Nick T with his explosive straight line running style would be good for the edge. I prefer edges who can run a direct hard line through gaps, preferably with great leg speed. Also need to see the younger players defensive ability on the edge. Su'a is solid in that area.
