Not really. How does one 'win' and how does it work with 'selling' players.
To win the 50 grand you have to have the most points accrued over the whole season of all the entries in the Supercoach comp. It was around 175 000 this year. At the beginning of each season, Supercoach will ask you a question, Something like are you a rookie supercoach mid range or expert. Then at the start of the season, maybe round 2, everyone is put into an allocated league, by Supercoach. Then one has to go head to head each week with another team in their comp. Like the NRL, the winner gets 2 points if they win their round. After everyone has played each other, they have semis, with a top 8 and the same format as NRL, 1 plays 4, plays 3, 5 plays 8 and 6 plays 7. Then all the way to the Grand Final, like the NRL. Some people start their own league's, We can start our own Dragon's Lair league. Some people have leagues where they all put money in and the winner or even place getters take or share the pool. Then there are podcasters leagues, which have unlimited numbers and no one plays each other, it is just about points, some of the big podcasters channels will even have prizes for the winner. There are also weekly supercoach prizes for the one who scores the highest points of the round of everyone included. I don't know if one has to be a Supercoach Plus subscriber to be eligible for the weekly prizes. Some podcasters offer money to people who are signed up to their league if they are the highest point scorer of the whole supercoach comp for that week, but again I think some or maybe all of them, stipulate one having to be a Supercoach Plus subscriber to be eligible for those prizes. Personally I don't really care about head to head. It is all about what points I score, where I am coming in regards to the whole comp and where I finish at the end. To me who ever finishes the year with the highest points wins the league.

They looked super fit. Dont think fitness will be an issue this season. Even LL looked 5kg lighter
It's good but I guess that means the idea of having him play in the middle isn't going to happen. As a second rower he was fat. For a prop, he was probably about right. I remember Trent Robinson talking about props carrying around a bit of extra weight isn't always bad.

I was thinking pretty much the same as you. For over 6 years I have thought Leilua should be a prop. Now he wants to slim down to look like an edge backrower, when he have an abundance of edge backrowers.

But I'm sure he meant muscle and not rolls of flab. Last time he played prop/middle was for samoa and did it for North Queensland.

There's no reason why he can't do it again, even at his current weight he's still a large fella. I love his ball playing on the edge. Long way to go till Rd.1

I think he didn't mean as fat as Luciano was last year but he meant a bit fat not always being bad. He made a crack something about not caring how one looks in the mirror. It was a few years ago now. I can't remember exactly.

As I mentioned in another reply he is no prop and only desperation would you even consider such a silly move.

None apart from sua are proven quality. If luch is better than them by a considerable margin then hopefully it pushes other guys to get better.
LL is off contract after this season where he turns 30. If he fails to perform this season he won't be wearing the big red v in 2027. Being off contract is a great motivator. Lets see what he looks like physically and how his mindset is. Last season he was generally poor.

I don't think we'll sign him just cos he's had a good season. I think that boat has sailed for us unless the other younger 2rf are bad and sua is leaving. It would be poor for us to sign him off 1 good season.

I think you are right. But I bet a lot of Souths fans were saying the same about Koloamatangi before he made the transition. I'm just saying I would have liked LL to try and make it as a prop because this year, I don't see how he makes the team as a second rower.

Its amazing what a good season coupled with a mindset change can do and are viewed by the powers to be

They have vastly different playing styles. Physically they are similar but KK has always had a higher involvement and workrate than LL. Just my views.

LL needs to recapture his mojo as an edge forward which is to make breaks and set up the centre or perform his miracle off loads regularly. By losing lots of fat and converting it to muscle for all of this year, he will be dangerous. It is up to him to prove that he is better than the young ones coming through.

Everyone needs to prove they are better than each other. Only sua should be locked in as an edge.

To my eye Su'a last season was dangerous with the pill in hand, defensively he was poor.

He avg 28.5 tackles a game missed 2.4 . Only LKT, Illias and Buchanan avg more missed tackles.
