So this is my gut top 19 unless we sign another back from outside the club.

God knows where our current joint club cpt Gutherson fits in. I have a horrible feeling into a centre spot moving Holmes to a wing spot instead of TU but God help us if that occurs.

The problem is he is on about $800k and you can't in your right mind have a player on that coin playing anywhere else except 1sts.

I dont believe Kerr deserves a top 17 position either. Its a predicament.

I think we need something else on the edge .. either KK or Nick (unless we grab another edge player)
Also the 3/4 line needs 2 new centres but for now cannot fault your picks

Keaon has been very poor when filling in on the edge for Souths of late. In defence he is slow and vulnerable out there, and being spotted. Will only get worse with age.

He's one of the game's best front rowers. That's his spot.

100% KK on the edge doesn't work effectively anymore. Game is too quick for him in that spot.

Knee is a factor there but i am not going to disagree with you.

To me that means we need to hit the market for an explosive right edge player to get the balance in the rest of the pack on track again.
Nick could develop into that and if Anderson was on the money we need to see Nick in 1sts for the last few games of the season (assuming he can get through this weekend intact).

18/19 i think you are doubling up on pointless there ... put Nuffo on the same line as reed/lkt and add in someone like Nick

Wasn't ballsy. Just forgot about him. If this backline did indeed take shape, judging from what #4 and 5 did in the lower grades, and Sami in place of Tu, it's a backline without any weakness. Good balance of speed, power, youth, experience.
