Its painful because we dont have strike weapons.. we have Val but hes not here.. Suli and Leilua although brutal, it doesnt generally result in points..
Tu is my fave of the current wingers, but hes small and I still havent really seen him disect the line.. Fale I just cannot get a read on.. I dont feel like he goes after the match.. he waits for it.. theres a player in there.. but if Heidke was in the same spot he will go after the game..
But the hit on Glover is a reminder of what first grade does to kids... one mistake against a big body like that and its good night.
Still cant believe half the squad tonight played nsw cup earlier.. is it safe to play with a long break, and surely they have far less energy left now.

Couchman's as well looking for offloads and passing before the line. Hasn't resulted in anything yet but it will if not in the second half, throughout the season.

We appear very predictable in our attack. Half time stats favour us but far far too many errors 7 - 2 and completion rate far inferior to theirs.
Still have that issue with our halves especially our 6, not running therefore making defending easier. CT was same as last week fairly ordinary.
Our best forward in attack was Stewart and it shouldn't be. Our best back was Gutho.

Good news is, if the young blokes like Nick T and Buchanan come on, we won't lose anything at all. As a matter of fact, it should make the team better. Luciano has lost a lot of kgs but he still doesn't worry the defence at all. LPT for Gular as well.

I think it’s impossible to do well without a fast/agile fullback these days
It’s just the threat of the run alone which makes teams worry about the dummy and run from the likes of Walsh/Tedesco/Bula/Weekes and adds another dimension to the offense
We severely lack that and it’s made to look worse because Cook/Kyle aren’t game breakers
It’s a shame because there’s no quick fix for that issue rn

They seem to be so natural at creating second phase play. Toby was exceptional last year. Luch a good ball player too, but need others to also disrupt defenses..

Our defensive set-up is very poor not square, not moving forward inside our red zone . You simply can't do that
