I think on the RedV Podcast they mentioned approx 4 -6 week periodIs there any timeline proposed on when we'll make a decision on the head coach?
I haven't seen anything about changes to our current assistant coaches but assume it's still Talau & Eisenhuth.
As an experienced outsider, I think he’s the logical choice to be honestBrad Arthur great man manager apparently. Heaps of the parra guys love him
He was also part of the problem prior to 2024. I have nothing against him, it seems to me he's not a good fit for the Dragons at this point in time. I will support him though like I have done every other coach until it becomes totally untenable.I know Young can only deal with the cards that he’s been dealt BUT, he has been part of the problem since 2024. There is no way he should be promoted to the head coaching role. We need a complete outsider to come into the role. Fresh coach, no ties to the club.
Yep Brad Arthur for me as well, I dont remember him having the same issues with his son as Flanno did.Brad Arthur has Leeds top of the Superleague ladder after a 5 game winning streak. Keen to see them against Wigan this weekend. He got them to 4th place last year in his first season, after they failed to make the finals the preceding 2 years.
Arthur is (surprisingly to me) only 51 years old: 4 years younger than Ivan Cleary, and 9 younger than Shane Flanagan.
Being so close to Gutherson, he might even be able to convince him to retire early and join his staff? That'd be nice.
Arthur has an option for next year with Leeds, but is not locked in.
I think I'm on the Brad Arthur bus - as long as neither of sons join.
I'm leaning his way now myself.. I dunno if anyone is across how he is handling his time in the UK?Brad Arthur great man manager apparently. Heaps of the parra guys love him

I'm just more confident in him than I am with Hornby.. tbf im just going off vibes here.... but either way im glad that it appears were gonna go with a fresh coach.. someone who can talk to the young boys and try and settle them to extend.
My only fear with an experienced coach is that they are able to move with the times.. that was rly Flanno's downfall.. im pretty sure Ciraldo and Bellamy will work it out quickly and adjust rosters to suit.. man-management is the key to everything.. but beyond that just being open to different attacks and defensive structures, because both are changing.. defence is still a thing, but u cant be stuck in ur ways.Brad Arthur at Leeds
2024: 8th
2025: 4th
2026: currently top of the table after 10 rounds, 8w 2L
We could do a lot worse than land Brad Arthur in my opinion. Be a decent appointment. Maybe he could bring a couple of gun outside backs with him tooMy only fear with an experienced coach is that they are able to move with the times.. that was rly Flanno's downfall.. im pretty sure Ciraldo and Bellamy will work it out quickly and adjust rosters to suit.. man-management is the key to everything.. but beyond that just being open to different attacks and defensive structures, because both are changing.. defence is still a thing, but u cant be stuck in ur ways.
I imagine the UK is an attack orientated game, but I dont watch it so who knows.. and also its a different standard.. but Arthur has coached plenty down here also.
What assistants would we have or does he get to pick. Also the burning question , will he have total control ?I don’t know if Arthur can win us a comp but I’m confident he’s competent coaching in the modern day
I trust he could get us back into the top 8 with the right additions to the roster + good front office management
